Our Process
Estimating
At NC Showers, we know you can't make a move until you know if the shower you envision is possible and what the costs are to build it. We visit your home, measure the space, discuss options and provide budgetary pricing on the spot. With your preliminary approval, we make production drawings of the shower, specify the hardware, and provide you with a firm quotation for the project. We can also estimate from design drawings, but can not order glass until the shower is completed for measurement.
Production
Once your space is measured and the design drawings are approved, we send the glass into production for cutting and tempering. When complete, the glass and hardware are checked for compatibility and the our Quality Assurance team verifies the glass is free from scratched and defects. Then we schedule the installation.
Installation
A key member of our installation team will arrive on site and do a complete layout of the shower and mark the locations for hinges, braces, or other support hardware. Next we test fit the panels to ensure fitment. Once all dimensions and placements are verified, we install clips and hinges to support the glass and then install the glass according to the plan. Finally, we seal the edges and install any seals or door sweeps. We then clean the glass to perfection and clean up the workspace before gaining requisite approvals and leaving the site.
